It has been a wild and crazy few weeks since July,, July was full of sewing at the beach🏖️, adventures with airlines and computer crashes, then to finish July out with surgery (that requires 12 weeks of recovery) following with extended Physical Therapy treatments.

And the most EXCITING NEWS,,,, was the most anticipated delivery of the Bernina B990!!!! (Insert me jumping up and down like a 3 yo on Christmas morning). Now, for delivery I was heavily medicated and just 3 days post op. So my introduction was kinda hazy, setting up in my dining room until I can access my quilt studio, and a gazillion questions later, Kathy (my dealer) has been amazing throughout the process.
I was in the middle of a small project that I will complete on #299, then I have an amazing embroidery project to begin that I cannot wait to start with you! I will keep you posted on the project as it progresses. Hopefully, you and I will get to know this Amazing machine better.
Btw,, I am one of those that names my Machines,, this new beauty needs a name!! Any suggestions are greatly appreciated and welcomed!!
Other names already in use are
The Red Queen (or “Queenie”) M28
“Uni” the unicorn (Bernina Tula ed.)
“Big B” (Bernina Gold ed.)
